We Tell Stories

The stories in this book were told by the children of Annette Street Primary and their families. These tales show the vibrant oral storytelling traditions of the many cultures at home in Govanhill, in particular Scottish and European Roma people.

Romano Lav is a grassroots anti-racist community organisation and registered charity based in Govanhill, Glasgow. We work with and for local Roma communities to challenge racism, discrimination and disadvantage in Glasgow.

Our work is diverse but united by a common objective of empowering Roma people, and Roma youth and Roma women, in particular.

Please note all orders will be shipped once a week on a Thursday. Due to increases in the cost of postage, we can no longer ship orders outside the UK and Ireland.
