Our Men’s Shed offers regular weekly sessions were beginners and those who are more experienced can come together to build new friendships and develop woodwork skills in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Who is Men’s Shed for?
Our aim is to engage a diverse group of men who may benefit from taking part in regular supported activities to improve their wellbeing. We want to reach those who are not currently in work across the wider Govanhill area, with an emphasis on G42/G41 postcodes.
Whether you’ve already got some woodwork experience under your belt and you want to share your skills, or you’re a beginner wanting to learn some new skills you’d be welcome to join us in the workshop.
What to expect?
When you first join us at the workshop you will be taught how to safely operate the tools and find your way around the workshop.
A friendly and welcoming group who are going on a journey together to learn skills and be more connected to their community.
